An example of the Search Engine Optimization is the Pay Per Click model. Pay per click (PPC) is a model of Internet advertising wherein the advertiser’s ad is displayed on a website and the advertiser is only required to pay a fixed amount for every viewer who clicks on the ad. This method of advertising is especially useful for advertisers because they do not have to pay for those customers on whom the advertisement did not have an effect. Another example is the Cost Per Click model. Cost per click (CPC) is a term used in online advertising to denote the amount the advertiser pays per each click on their advertisement, which leads one viewer to their website.
A web banner or banner ad is a typically rectangular advertisement shown at the top or bottom or side of a page which links the users that click on it to the advertiser’s website. Banner ads typically follow the Pay-per-View (PPV) model of advertising wherein the advertiser pays a fixed amount for every time their ad is displayed to a visitor. PPV ads are typically much cheaper per unit than PPC ads.
