Management and supervisors have to be taken into confidence early on and explained the true advantages of the decision as they can serve as a two-way channel, addressing worker concerns while taking senior management’s thoughts to them. The news has to be communicated via newsletter followed by discussion on it at one of the meetings with the workforce where maximum presence of senior management is advisable so as to provide an image of complete disclosure and leadership involvement
