Essay: Parenting Analysis
Good parenting refers to the different ways through which parents carry out their roles in a more responsive way in order to ensure good upbringing of the child. There are different styles which parent may employ in their parenting roles.
Regardless of the style employed, the goal of the parent should be to develop a mature, very responsible, ethical, understanding, and God fearing person who can relate with other people in the society in a better way. The four common styles of parenting include authoritative parenting style, authoritarian parenting, the uninvolved parenting style, and the permissive parenting style (McKay 2006). The different styles of parenting have their diverse advantages and disadvantages even though it is very evident that some methods bear more fruits than others when employed by a child’s parents.
