Essay: History of Buddhism
After the world’s great civilization like Sumenan civilization in Mesopotamia around 3000 BC, Nile civilization in 2800 BC, Indus 2500 BC, China in 1500 BC, Mexico 1000 BC and Peru 800 BC; there emerged an advanced achievement in the architecture, culture and religious ceremonies. These elements gave rise to major world religions; of which Buddhism is included.
This is a religion that is rooted in one founder man Buddha who was born around 563 BC is growing to be distinct in its practices that is acknowledged worldwide. In this line of thought this essay shall look at Buddhism as one of the world’s major religion in its historical perspective to today’s practices of temple fellow ship.
