Essay: Better Educational Structure when Studying Abroad
It is true that one is likely to get the best when they study in developed countries that have better educational infrastructures. This implies to courses that are more technical such as engineering, medicine, information technology, just to mention but a few are taught properly. This introduces well trained graduates that are well acquainted with the require knowledge and skills. However, student from developed countries move to other nations not for such advantages but for exchange programmes, it may be for other reasons apart from poor or unavailable educational facilities(Doyle et al. 2010 p.495).
Distance from loved ones is one of the most conspicuous disadvantages that studying abroad presents. Family ties are broken resulting into emotional problems such as homesickness. Social unions such as marriages are shaken to a great extent because they need intimacy and availability of both parties almost all the time to survive. This has resulted in broken marriages and unconsolidated families (Cressey 2004 P. 56). One is forced to live his or her childhood home or even a place of birth, this creates a very big void emotionally that destabilizes ones emotions.
