The definition of our three objectives was clear in the manner in which they were accepted by the majority of the organization’s members. According to Natemeyer and Mcmahon, there is always the need to enhance goal commitment essential to boost the productivity of the members (pp. 367).
To improve on productivity, the goals set ought to be combined with presence of a supervisor who would help explain the goals to all members and clear on the expectations from and of the members. The organization’s members were represented during the deliberations and indirectly participated in the setting of these goals which increased the chances of goal acceptance. The knowledge of members representation is imperative in ensuring that the decision arrived at is of high quality and involves all the members (Natemayer.pp.364).
